Account/Event Manager 3-6 month contract (ER/3350)

Sydney: c$30.00 per hour plus superannuation

Our client offers a comprehensive suite of integrated marketing communications solutions, helping clients operate efficiently and effectively across Asia Pacific. Established over 25 years, and located on Sydney’s north shore, they seek a temporary Account Manager to commence early April 2019. There is also the possibility that contract will be extended to a total 12 months.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver results for each client
  • Developing, maintaining, and extending relationships with clients, to achieve highest level of client satisfaction
  • Executing day-to-day affiliate account management tasks across your dedicated portfolio of accounts
  • Attend and maintain client calls / catch ups, as scheduled
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Event Manager (ER/3348)

Sydney: $80,000 plus superannuation

Successful event agency business requires an experienced event professional to join their team and manage end-to-end event programs for their clients.

Specifically, this will include leading a full scale project management program (conference agendas, breakout sessions, keynotes, social events etc,), delegate registrations, website and mobile app builds, hotel/venue contract negotiations, financial management, event brief, timeline and runsheet execution, develop and manage strong relationships with clients, execute all communication activities (marketing material, advertising, social media, direct mail, marketing campaigns, etc.), undertake marketing evaluation activities including customer surveys and ROI calculations and provide marketing analysis and reporting and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

You will require at least five years’ event management experience encompassing hands-on event logistics and event marketing strategies, onsite management, event production, budgeting, client and supplier relationships and with advanced computer skills and an understanding of social media. As well, you will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and outstanding attention to detail.

Highly successful global event agency business seeks a highly capable Event Producer to join their live production/creative services team and be responsible for ensuring the highest standard in client event production delivery, project managing creative and technical elements, delegating to production management team and controlling the client production budget.

Specifically, you will be responsible for accountability of event projects including overseeing all creative, technical, video, data production and print design elements for multiple and concurrent projects.
