Sydney: Hourly rate $29.50 plus superannuation 

 

Our client, a Government entity, seeks an Event Coordinator to commence asap for 3 days per week for a period of approximately 10-11 months. In this role you will provide administration and event support to a dynamic team of Event Managers.

 

You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written, be efficient and have superior organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, achieve work deadlines and priorities, and have ability to work alone or in a team environment.

 

High level computer skills using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required as is strong working knowledge of EventsAIR.

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with an agency whose portfolio of clients includes some of the biggest names in the IT industry and deliver events including tradeshows, sponsorship activations, seminars, conferences and roadshows across Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and Greater China.

Specifically, duties will include (but not be limited to) taking event briefs, participation in developing event concept, manage venue and F&B, manage supplier relationships, manage client sponsorship and booth activation, lead onsite execution team, registration processes, assist clients with event tasks, create run sheets, evaluations and onsite guides, signage & merchandise production.

Ideally you will have 3 years experience managing sponsorship & exhibitions or conferences, be tech savvy, confident and willing to pitch in where and when required. This is a small but friendly and dynamic team of people who work hard and at the same time enjoy a positive, happy working environment.

This role will report directly to the Managing Directors, and will involve occasional domestic and international travel. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.

Global exhibition organiser seeks a competent Business Development Manager to generate momentum for the exhibition sales function by sourcing and contracting new business and managing growth from existing business.

Specifically, you will source and build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain an extensive knowledge of current market trends and conditions.

You will develop and maintain relationships with existing exhibitors, sponsors, and partners and visit as required; research the market and competitors and attend industry functions,

You will require proven expertise in direct consultative selling and generating new business and a track record of hitting sales revenue targets, as well as solid sales planning and reporting skills. Highly successful global event agency business seeks a highly capable Event Producer to join their live production/creative services team and be responsible for ensuring the highest standard in client event production delivery, project managing creative and technical elements, delegating to production management team and controlling the client production budget.

Specifically, you will be responsible for accountability of event projects including overseeing all creative, technical, video, data production and print design elements for multiple and concurrent projects. You will also implement project systems and procedures, write and prepare case studies, ensure accurate reporting of financials, plan resources and maximise profitability as well as  manage and develop client relationships, seek and source new sales leads to maximise potential client base.

This market leading event design and display business seeks a capable Project Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for managing client projects to ensure they meet client expectations, along with budget, timeline and safety parameters.

Specifically you will be responsible for estimating/specifying projects and ensuring relevance to budgets & design.
