Account/Event Manager 3-6 month contract (ER/3350)

Sydney: c$30.00 per hour plus superannuation

Our client offers a comprehensive suite of integrated marketing communications solutions, helping clients operate efficiently and effectively across Asia Pacific. Established over 25 years, and located on Sydney’s north shore, they seek a temporary Account Manager to commence early April 2019. There is also the possibility that contract will be extended to a total 12 months.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver results for each client
  • Developing, maintaining, and extending relationships with clients, to achieve highest level of client satisfaction
  • Executing day-to-day affiliate account management tasks across your dedicated portfolio of accounts
  • Attend and maintain client calls / catch ups, as scheduled
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Event Management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
