Personal Assistant/Office Manager: (ER/3159)

Sydney: c$80,000 per annum

Our client is a leading, and well established event production & artist management business with a long history of producing events in the entertainment, corporate and public arenas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader and your duties will be varied; no two days will be the same.

As Personal Assistant to the business principal, your duties will include dictation and diary management, office administration, travel & accommodation booking, marketing & website management. The role will also include overall office management and you will manage IT & telecommunications, building management and repairs, stationery and office supplies, in other words, all things “office”.

Additionally you will liaise and manage aspects of a well known Australian recording artist. Duties will include addressing social media/media/charity enquiries, liaising with the external website manager and from time to time the artist’s agent, record company and band.

At times when you will be working on Events as a coordinator and while this is not a major function of the role, you should have some experience in either events/ film/ television/ music/ or theatre.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be extremely organised, courteous, unflappable, efficient, mature and discreet. You will be a people person, with a happy nature, and not afraid of confrontation.  A good and current knowledge of popular culture is imperative and while a knowledge of the music industry is desirable it is not essential.

Good computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, Dropbox along with excellent typing and written communication are essential.
