John Hackett

Director, John Hackett, has gained over 20 years recruitment consulting experience both within Australia and overseas.   He commenced his working career in marketing and event coordination positions in the corporate sector before joining a multinational recruiter in 1985.   After 15 months in the Sydney market, John was seconded to one of their United Kingdom offices for a further 12-month period.

John was then approached to join a newly established national recruitment company in Sydney, where he worked for nine years to Associate Director level.   

John established his own recruitment consultancy in 1997 and in late 2004 joined forces with Event Recruitment where he continues to provide a quality-oriented service in permanent selection and temporary staff recruitment.   

John also holds a degree in psychology and is a member of Meetings & Events Australia (MEA).

 

Pauline Carr

Pauline Carr works as a Senior Consultant for Event Recruitment.  Pauline has six years recruitment experience to date and holds a degree in psychology. She has also gained previous experience in the hospitality, medical and media research sectors including event/venue coordination responsibility with a 5 star resort.  Pauline is an active member of the events industry and regularly imparts her knowledge to tertiary students, employers and employees within the industry. 

 


Andrena Clark

 

Andrena ClarkFounder, Andrena Clark has 17 years recruitment consulting experience both in the United Kingdom and Australia. She began her career with a large multinational in the UK and, 16 months later, transferred to Australia to work in the Sydney office. Following this, she moved to a national recruitment group, working with them for six years in both Sydney and Melbourne. Andrena then joined a conference company as their Event Manager for a two year period before establishing Event Recruitment.
