Business Development Manager

Sydney: To $80,000 plus bonus

Prominent and multi-faceted venue operation seeks a professional Business Development Manager with a strong network of existing relationships in the MICE market. You will be responsible for the promotion and selling of venue facilities through face to face sales meetings, telesales and site inspection activity and the subsequent achievement of budgeted sales targets. Further duties will entail recommending sales strategies, potential opportunities and packages aimed at increasing new business, coordinating tele-marketing and direct mail activities, representing the venue’s participation at trade shows and other external activities, assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and business plans, generating P&L for booked business and ensuring profit margins/targets are met, conducting client entertainment with key and potential accounts, reporting on competitor strategies and market trends and maintaining knowledge of all competitors, industry bodies and suppliers, providing sales reports and attending sales meetings and ensuring maintenance of the database system. Event Project Manager

Sydney: $60,000 plus super plus bonuses and allowances

This successful event management business boasts a solid and growing client base covering the corporate, association and incentive markets. This team based position will involve the management of logistics, event staff and client relationships for a range of conferences and events. Specifically you will be involved in coordinating registrations, venue selection, accommodation, travel, food and beverage, entertainment, themeing and on-site requirements for events. In addition you will be responsible for developing critical paths, budgets, event run orders and event risk management plans, organising print communication, data management, managing suppliers, contributing to business development and developing existing processes and procedures. You will require extensive event production and meetings management experience, ideally including strategic planning and business development capabilities. Venue Services Manager

Sydney: To $75,000 plus super

Event Producer
