Our client is Australia’s leading publishing and Events Company specialising in the media and marketing sector. Their portfolio includes a website and e‐newsletter covering everything under Australia’s media and marketing umbrella, and a series of various events including lunches and dinners.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing the RSVP list for upcoming bespoke events
  • Drafting event run sheets
  • Drafting moderator notes
  • Venue logistics
  • Finalising catering

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders including design team, marketing & sales

This role will suit an experienced Event Manager with the ability to work in a small, busy team with demanding timelines. EventsAIR experience will be welcome but is not essential.

Senior Event Coordinator 12 month fixed term contract (ER/3316)

Sydney: Up to $59,593 plus 10% super and benefits

 Our client is a professional, not-for-profit, member-based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.  Multiple conferences are run throughout the year.

The role involves coordinating all areas of event logistics with a detailed understanding of your projects including: working to timelines; following approved budgets; maintaining accurate files; executing conference marketing and sponsorship plans; AV and venue management; working with committees, suppliers, members, exhibitors, speakers, registrants; reporting on all aspects; and onsite co-ordination.  This is a varied and fast paced role and is a crucial role for the delivery of conferences for the society and their clients. Domestic travel is required in this role and there is potential for international travel.

Candidates are required to have:

  • Experience in an event coordination/management role (3 years or more)
  • High level interpersonal skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, as part of a team to and work in high pressure situations
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and events management software, ideally in EventsAir, as well as website and EDM platforms

Desirable requirements:

  • Preference for candidates with experience in managing social media campaigns for events
  • Candidates to have knowledge and understanding of organising events in the not-for-profit sector

Young, upcoming Sydney event agency seeks an Event Producer to start January 2019 through to around mid April 2019.

Working closely with Senior Producers, you will head up an upcoming event, being responsible for all elements and be client facing. You will work together with a team including a Technical Director, Creative Director and Event Coordinator.

Global exhibition organiser seeks a competent Business Development Manager to generate momentum for the exhibition sales function by sourcing and contracting new business and managing growth from existing business.

Highly successful global event agency business seeks a highly capable Event Producer to join their live production/creative services team and be responsible for ensuring the highest standard in client event production delivery, project managing creative and technical elements, delegating to production management team and controlling the client production budget.

Specifically, you will be responsible for accountability of event projects including overseeing all creative, technical, video, data production and print design elements for multiple and concurrent projects. You will also implement project systems and procedures, write and prepare case studies, ensure accurate reporting of financials, plan resources and maximise profitability as well as  manage and develop client relationships, seek and source new sales leads to maximise potential client base.
