This boutique experiential agency is seeking a capable Business Development Manager to work closely with the MD and ensure growth targets are achieved through the acquisition of new business.

You will be responsible for managing and growing existing and new clients and taking them from brief to pitch to sale, then de-briefing and creating repeat business opportunities.  You will consult with clients and prospects on communications plans and strategies, profile and develop key account prospects, acquire new accounts, develop account plans and pursue new business within existing accounts.

You will also support in establishing strategies for growth and developing an annual business development plan, reinforce industry collaborations, prepare and present proposals and pitches with the Production team, develop and implement initiatives that build local market awareness and interest in Zeal and collect and disseminate market and competitive intelligence.

To be a success in this role you will require a minimum of four years’ experience in business development/account management along with strong communication (oral and written), relationship building skills and knowledge of event production.

Personal Assistant/Office Manager: (ER/3159)

Our client is a leading, and well established event production & artist management business with a long history of producing events in the entertainment, corporate and public arenas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader and your duties will be varied; no two days will be the same.

As Personal Assistant to the business principal, your duties will include dictation and diary management, office administration, travel & accommodation booking, marketing & website management. The role will also include overall office management and you will manage IT & telecommunications, building management and repairs, stationery and office supplies, in other words, all things “office”.

Additionally you will liaise and manage aspects of a well known Australian recording artist. Duties will include addressing social media/media/charity enquiries, liaising with the external website manager and from time to time the artist’s agent, record company and band.

At times when you will be working on Events as a coordinator and while this is not a major function of the role, you should have some experience in either events/ film/ television/ music/ or theatre.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be extremely organised, courteous, unflappable, efficient, mature and discreet. You will be a people person, with a happy nature, and not afraid of confrontation.  A good and current knowledge of popular culture is imperative and while a knowledge of the music industry is desirable it is not essential.

This successful and expanding media and events organisation seeks an accomplished marketing specialist  to build and manage an integrated marketing platform for client engagement and be responsible for designing, planning and coordinating marketing programs across a range of platforms (online and offline).

Specifically, you will manage the database (outsourced CRM), digital marketing across email, social media, app. maintenance and development, website content (posts/blogs), Google Analytics along with delegate monitoring to ensure repeat attendance etc. You will work across their three main product areas of events, digital editorial and podcasts.

Highly successful niche media and events business operating in the Asia Pacific region seek a capable conference producer to develop thought-leadership education programs to business leaders, senior management and executives.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for producing content for around 12 industry conference/forums, workshops and learning events each year in a multi-disciplinary role that will encompass research, client engagement, marketing communication and project management.

Importantly, you will not be responsible for selling or conference P&L and all events are funded through sponsorship from strong corporate relationships, with an emphasis on quality over quantity with respect to the events.

Working in the Sydney corporate and special events market, you will be responsible for actively targeting of Heads of Production & producers at major agencies, independent producers and end clients of large scale event projects.

Specifically you will be responsible for sourcing, pitching and quoting on new and existing event projects; researching new customer segments and potentially expanding service offering; managing CRM whilst ensuring integrity of data; establishing and maintaining contact with existing clients; representing the brand at various public and private events and preparing target lists of clients for entertainment purposes.

To be a success in this role you will have sound technical understanding of event production lighting, audio and vision, which could have been gained in a creative marketing or event agency, live production, broadcast television or AV equipment hire industries. You will also have strong account management skills and desire to focus in a business development role.

This successful professional conference organiser seeks a team focused individual with a strong client focus to contribute to the planning and delivery of client events.

Specifically you will be responsible for project managing small meetings and lecture tours, venue management, stakeholder liaison, coordinating delegate registrations including  building registration sites using Events Air software, invitation distribution, generating event run sheets and delegate attendance reports, budget management and account reconciliation, accommodation hotel block bookings, coordinating flight bookings with travel management company, collating conference packs, name badges, etc.

You will require at least two years’ events experience with sound knowledge of event logistics including delegate coordination and registrations and client and stakeholder management skills. Any experience using EventsAir will be highly regarded but is not essential.
