Event Coordinator 6 month contract: (ER/2848)

Sydney:  $50-55,000 plus superannuation pro-rata

An exciting opportunity exists to join an award winning, leading event agency. Starting asap there is a possibility this contract will convert to permanent.

Responsibilities/duties will include:

  • To assist in the coordination and management of events
  • To assist in the creation of ideas for events
  • To assist Event Managers and Event Producers in the development, planning and execution of events, including writing of quotes, reports, invoicing etc and to administer all related event and other budgets
  • To liaise with suppliers regarding each event
  • To create, update and manage database of suppliers
  • Be able to work on many varied projects at any one time, professionally and reliably keeping on top of all aspects of your events at all times
  • To work with other team members on day to day general event or office work as required
  • To be “hands on” with a range of general event duties, which at times may seem menial
  • Answer phone in the first instance
  • Manage general office tasks including mail, stationery supplies, photocopying, faxing , updating contact information

This position will suit a polished and well presented individual, without appearing too corporate. You will also have superior administration skills and attention to detail and be happy to “muck in” as required. Ideally you will have 1-2 years experience in a similar creative events agency. A willingness to work outside of normal business hours, as required, is essential.

You will require your own vehicle and be prepared to use to transport props etc as required.

Event Coordinator (ER/3065)

Sydney: $65,000 package including superannuation

This prominent national professional membership organisation sees a capable Event Coordinator to provide event support to the management team and coordinate both state and national events ranging in size from 20 – 2,000+ attendees.

Specifically, you will manage the delegate registration process; liaise and communicate with event participants including delegates, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and committees; manage business relationships with suppliers and contractors including venues, audio visual companies, entertainers etc; set-up and maintain events in CRM database systems and establish and maintain any event websites as required; assist with the implementation of event marketing plans; prepare on-site event collateral including name badges, programs, menus etc; oversee management of events on-site; ensure accurate event financials and budgets including timely payment of invoices and financial reconciliation and assist with post event surveys/reports preparation.

To be a success in this role you will require a minimum of two years’ business events experience along with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple and simultaneous projects and tasks and a high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office and CRM database systems.

Event (Experiential) Account Manager: 12 month contract with view to permanent (ER/3044)

Sydney: Up to $120,000 plus super depending on experience

Our client is a multi-disciplinary vibrant and dynamic agency who develop and build campaigns, in-store experiences and “ideas that move”.  As a result of a number of business wins, they now seek a talented Event (Experiential) Account Manager to join their team on a twelve month contract with a view to permanent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting in managing the development, planning and execution of branded experiential activity and events
  • Developing and executing campaign plans, managing timelines and project plans
  • Developing and managing project finances, including budgets, reconciliations/job profitability
  • Developing strong client relationships
  • Assisting project in cost management, planning, concept, design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, and maintenance/operation
  • Working closely with the Business Director to develop existing business and win new business

To be successful in this role you will require integrated marketing experience and exposure, including a good understanding of the Communication and Advertising industry. You will lead a team of project managers and contractors to deliver Installation projects Australia wide, ensuring projects are delivered beyond client expectations, meet safety guidelines, and achieve budget and timeline parameters.

Specifically, you will manage, inspire, mentor and train your team and plan, develop and schedule their workloads as well as manage relationships with all contractors. You will conduct site analysis and infrastructure reviews along with feasibility of concept developments and ensure client sites are prepared and infrastructure is ready and fit for use and manage project logistics, installation and dismantling. Working with both new and existing clients, you will ensure maximum customer satisfaction, develop and maintain client relationships, develop relevant solutions, ensure all job requirements have been adequately met, and supervise installation of jobs.

Liaising and managing the relationship with external suppliers concerning equipment, crew, freight, AV, audio, lighting, furniture hire etc is a crucial element to this role as is liaising with Operations employees to ensure processes and procedures continue to be improved based on actual job experiences.

This global event agency seek an accomplished Creative Director to take responsibility for the development of client brand and event experiences.

Specifically you will be responsible for developing unique event concepts and overseeing the creative process from pitch conceptualisation, strategic development through to final production.
